Alarm.com interactive alarm monitoring with video surveillance allows you to look in live to your property anytime and anywhere as long as you have a web enabled PDA, cell phone, or computer. You also would have the ability to record video whenever an alarm event occurs or a the security camera detects motion. Unlike an expensive traditional digital video recorder (DVR) surveillance system which stores its data on site, the ADC-V610PT transmits its data to an offsite remote location ensuring the security of your recordings. The ADC-V610PT captures color video at up to 640 x 480 resolution while providing for low-light sensitivity and adjustable video motion detection. Plug this wireless pan/tilt security camera into a standard A/C wall outlet and, with an active wireless internet connection, you are ready to view live video from anywhere. You also can add a 9' power extension cable if there isn't an outlet near where you want to mount the wireless pan/tilt security camera. Unlike the fixed wireless IP security camera, this camera can be remotely controlled to look around. The camera can pan back and forth and/or tilt up and down using the web based controls of the interactive monitoring service. The privacy button on the wireless pan/tilt security camera allows you to turn off remote viewing and recording as an added security feature. If the privacy button is activated, you would only be able to view the wireless pan/tilt security cameras if you were on site at the protected premise.
