Part-Time Nurse Practitioner with Women's Health Experience
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our private practice specializing in women's health.
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.
This is a part-time position, with flexible hours to accommodate work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and screenings for women of all ages- Diagnose and treat common gynecological conditions and provide appropriate medical interventions- Perform routine gynecological exams, including Pap smears, breast exams, and STI screenings- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and promote healthy lifestyle choices- Provide counseling and support to patients regarding reproductive health, family planning, and menopause management- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including electronic health records- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards of nursing practice
Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in state - Certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) highly preferred- Proficient in conducting gynecological exams and procedures- Strong knowledge of women's health issues, including reproductive health and menopause management- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment- Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
